Board Retreat with the BBB

Mindflower facilitated a group of 65 business leaders from Arizona and Southern California during the Board of Directors Retreat for the Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest. We had 3 main goals for this workshop: 1) Get to know each other, 2) Learn the fundamentals of Creative Thinking, and 3) Generate ideas for 2020 strategies in each of the 3 counties.
Within the first 15 minutes of the workshop, everyone was on their feet and moving around. It is safe to say that we used every inch of the 6400 square foot ballroom at the beautiful Civana Resort and Spa in Carefree, Arizona.
We used Creative Problem Solving, Design Thinking, & Visual Thinking to generate and assess ideas for the BBB in 2020. We diverged, doodled, laughed, clustered, assessed, and visualized our visions. After putting hundreds of ideas on the walls, we deliberately converged by using a Mindflower original "visual vision" worksheet. During our post-workshop celebration, it was obvious how many new connections were made by people that live in different counties.
